Employment Opportunity at the Library

Library Maintenance Assistant

Part-time, 15-24 hours/week. Under the supervision of the Facilities and Operations Manager and the Acquisitions and Processing Manager, the Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for library patrons and staff. Primary duties will include the packing and unpacking of the daily delivery of books and library material, meeting room set-up, small repairs, cleaning, and vacuuming. Job Fair! Monday, May 11

Do you want to work for a local nonprofit? 

Twinsburg Public Library will host a Nonprofit Job Fair on Monday, May 11 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. You do not need to register. 

Come dressed in your interview best and with copies of your resume. Be ready for on-the-spot interviews. 

Participating employers include: University Hospitals, PAWsibilities Humane Society of Greater Akron, Our Community Hunger Center,Mature Staffing Systems, Hope Homes Inc., Greater Cleveland Council, Boy Scouts

Monday Night at the Movies

Watch the best movies 0f 2014 with library friends on on Monday evenings in March, April and May. We will present the Best Picture and Best Actor/Actress Oscar nominees. Admission, popcorn, and lemonade are on us! Movies start promptly. Refreshments are served 10 minutes prior to show time.

Calling Local Nonprofit Employers

Twinsburg Public Library, in response to its previous successful job fair, is hosting a free job fair for you! If you are a local nonprofit organization that is seeking new talent, then you can request a table.

The event is FREE, but only open to local nonprofits with immediate (or soon-to-be) open paid positions. 

The Library will provide a table and two chairs. Please bring your own literature. If you are interested, call 330-425-4268 ext. 2. 

When: Monday, May 11

Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm (Employer set up at 9:30am)

Cost: Free
